Press Release August 12th, 2013
Armament Technology Incorporated of Halifax Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that as of August 9th 2013 it has acquired the assets of Tenebraex Corporation of Boston Massachusetts.
This acquisition includes patents, trademarks, designs, tooling and physical assets pertaining to Killflash® Anti-Reflection Devices, Tactical Tough® Scope Covers, Weapon Sight Polarizers and Laser Filter products. Tenebraex Corporation was founded in Boston Massachusetts in 1992 and has produced several million Anti-Reflection Devices for U.S. and other NATO military forces and has provided patented image-enhancing technology and optical sight accessories to numerous OEM partners in the military and commercial optical sighting equipment industry.
Armament Technology Incorporated specializes in optical sighting systems and accessories and maintains an extensive distribution network world-wide.
Tenebraex, a division of Armament Technology Incorporated, will resume full production in a new facility in Halifax early in September, utilizing key Tenebraex management staff and local skilled assembly workers. As molds and tooling will remain with existing qualified subcontractors in the United States, disruption to production and delivery schedules is expected to be minimal.
Inquiries may be directed to Ted Milner, President of Armament Technology Incorporated.
