ELCAN Specter DR back up iron sights
If you run your Elcan Specter with a red dot mounted on top you will need an extra set of back up iron sights, one set to mount on the right side of the red dot and an extra set to run on the left side of the red dot. That way if you find yourself in a pinch where you need your iron sights, you can shoot left or right handed. Buy with confidence, these back up iron sights are excellent and are the same “fit and finish” as the ones that come with the ELCAN Specter DR.

Elcan back up iron sights
I foolishly let the sight screws loosen. Perhaps the company could put a dot of thread locker on the screw during assembly. I put a little on the tiny screw that holds these sights on. Do wish the screws were at least one diameter wider and a touch longer. After going through the sight base only a few threads even engage but the screw is a very hard steel so I could put a little torque on it.
