Tangent Theta 3-15x50mm model TT315P Rifle Telescope is a long-range precision sighting instrument for professional marksmen.
Designed for heavy field use, Tangent Theta’s industry-leading development team has used their extensive experience to optimize and refine it for unfailing ruggedness, mechanical precision and unsurpassed image quality. Elevation and windage mechanisms exhibit precise tactile response and feature a truly TOOL-LESS RE-ZERO® procedure.
Tangent Theta rifle telescopes are built in Canada and are specifically designed and function-tested for long lifecycles in the harshest of environmental conditions.
0.025 MRAD vertical and horizontal crosshairs give an ultra fine aiming point
Full and half MRAD subtentions for rapid ranging and holdovers
Full and half MRAD wind holds below the horizonal allow for compensation at distance
Minimal holdover data allows a user to easily spot fall of shot
Gen 2 Mil-Dot Reticle
Gen 2 Mil-Dot Reticle
Traditional crosshair design
Half and full MRAD subtentions on the crosshairs allow accurate holdover for both wind and elevation
Lots of open glass to easily spot your trace and fall of shot
Bold stadia lines mean the reticle stands out even against low contrast backgrounds
Illumination is restricted to only the center of the crosshairs
Gen 3XR Fine Reticle
Gen 3XR Fine Reticle
Built around an even more precise center aiming dot
0.2 MRAD subtentions allow for precise ranging and holdovers, not requiring the user to hold in space
Subtentions in the crosshairs increase in size from 0.2 – 0.8 MRAD, with a dot marking each full MRAD allowing the user to quickly find their correction
Up to 5 MRAD of wind holds left and right below the horizontal for compensation at long range
Allows for fast second shot corrections
Tremor3 Reticle
Tremor3 Reticle
Precise center aiming dot
Horus grid with 0.2 MRAD subtentions provides numerous precise aiming points for extreme precision
Time of flight wind dots for quick and easy holds without a ballistic calculator
Moving target holds indicate leads for various targets moving up to 10 mph
Rapid range bars enable quick estimates of the range to targets of known size

MOA (Minute of Angle) calibrated reticles and tree pattern reticles are both popular choices for long-range shooting and combining them can provide several benefits. Here's an explanation of how they work together and their benefits.
Understanding MOA
Firstly, let's understand what MOA is. Minute of Angle (MOA) is a unit of angular measurement that is commonly used in the shooting industry. One MOA is equal to 1/60th of a degree or 1.047 inches at 100 yards. It is a way to express the accuracy of a rifle or the adjustment of the rifle scope's turrets. For example, if a rifle can shoot a group of shots that measures 1 MOA at 100 yards, that means the group of shots is 1.047 inches in diameter. Similarly, if a rifle scope is adjusted to move the point of impact by 1 MOA, the bullet's point of impact will move 1.047 inches at 100 yards.
MOA Calibrated Reticles
A MOA calibrated reticle is a reticle with markings that correspond to MOA adjustments. The markings are usually spaced 1 MOA apart, allowing the shooter to estimate the bullet's point of impact and make necessary adjustments to the rifle scope's turrets. The MOA calibrated reticle allows the shooter to adjust for windage and elevation with a quick glance at the reticle.
Tree Pattern Reticles
A tree pattern reticle is a reticle with multiple aiming points arranged in a tree-like pattern. The tree pattern reticle allows the shooter to quickly estimate the range to the target and adjust for bullet drop. The aiming points on the tree pattern reticle are usually spaced at predetermined distances, allowing the shooter to estimate the distance to the target and use the appropriate aiming point.
Benefits of MOA Calibrated Tree Reticles
Using a MOA calibrated tree reticle in long-range competition shooting can provide several benefits, including:
Faster and more accurate target acquisition: The tree reticle allows the shooter to quickly estimate the range to the target and use the appropriate aiming point, reducing the time it takes to acquire the target. The MOA markings on the reticle provide precise aiming points and help the shooter make quick and accurate adjustments to the scope.
Improved precision: The MOA calibrated tree reticle provides precise aiming points for both elevation and windage adjustments, improving the precision of the shot placement. The shooter can easily make adjustments to the reticle based on the target's distance and wind conditions, ensuring the bullet lands precisely where it is intended to.
Flexibility for different ranges: The tree reticle's predetermined aiming points are spaced at various distances, allowing the shooter to use the appropriate aiming point based on the target's range. The MOA markings on the reticle allow the shooter to make precise adjustments to the scope to ensure the bullet hits the target accurately.
Increased confidence: Using a MOA calibrated tree reticle can increase the shooter's confidence in their ability to hit targets at long ranges. The precise aiming points and ability to make quick adjustments to the scope provide a sense of control and assurance that the shooter can hit the target accurately. Overall, using a MOA calibrated tree reticle in long-range competition shooting can provide significant advantages, including faster and more accurate target acquisition, improved precision, flexibility for different ranges, and increased confidence. It is a useful tool for shooters looking to improve their long-range shooting skills and compete at a higher level.

FAQ
Q. Why do I have illumination issues with my Tremor3 or H59 reticle? A. Due to licensing agreements with Horus, we are limited in what we can illuminate to only the center dot and (on the Tremor3) the 2, 4, 6, and 8 MRAD dot below the horizontal crosshair. Our illumination module is also designed to limit stray light emissions from the front of the scope, which means that illumination on the Horus reticles we offer is optimized for use in low light and clip on night vision. As such, you may not be able to see the illumination with the naked eye during the day.
Q. What rings should I use? A. We mostly use Badger Ordnance and Cadex Defence mounts here, but any high end mounting solution will work well for you as long as you take care to follow the torque guidelines set out in the instructions.
Q. What is the torque spec when installing my Tangent Theta scope? A. For our TT525 and TT315 'P' series scopes (34mm tube) we recommend up to 25 in/lbs. For our TT315M & LHR (30mm tube) we recommend 15 in/lbs.
Q. What is the warranty for my TT? A. We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defect, and we conduct all warranty and non-warranty repairs at our facility here in Halifax. The same people who built your scope will be the ones to look after it in the unlikely event it needs any work done.
Q. How do I clean my scope glass? A. First, use a soft brush or cloth to remove any dirt or grit. Then use either the microfiber end of the included lens pen or a quality microfiber cloth to clean the lens. Use a circular motion, working from the inside to the outside.
