Founded in 1988 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Armament Technology Incorporated (ATI) is a Canadian defence manufacturer specializing in precision optical systems for military, law enforcement, and professional users. For nearly four decades, ATI has supported the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in refining, rebuilding, and delivering mission-critical optics that perform when failure is not an option.
What began with improving in-service optical systems for the CAF has evolved into a globally trusted capability. For many years now, ATI has supported large-scale refurbishment programs, including over 76,000 optics, and continues to provide lifecycle support, engineering expertise, and advanced manufacturing from Canada.
Today, ATI designs and manufactures combat-proven optics and accessories used by NATO and allied forces worldwide. Our systems are engineered for optical clarity, durability, signature reduction, and battlefield reliability ensuring performance in the harshest operational environments.
Operating under Canada’s Controlled Goods Program and ISO-certified quality systems, ATI delivers, high-performance optical solutions aligned with NATO interoperability standards and modern defence requirements. As a vertically integrated manufacturer located in Halifax, ATI represents a sovereign, export-ready Canadian source, strengthening capability and defence readiness.
