The SAI™ 6 series of optical sights provide a rugged and versatile solution for a variety of sighting requirements in variable magnification. With an LED-illuminated First Focal Plane reticle, ranging and ballistic hold-off is accurately achieved at any magnification. The proprietary Rapid Aiming Feature™ reticle and superior field of view enhance close-quarter effectiveness. The ruggedized tubular design allows for a variety of modular mounting solutions.

SAI 6
This is my third SAI 6 and I like them for several reasons. First is their obvious optical quality, but also their firm, accurate elevation and windage adjustments. What really sets them apart for me is the Rapid Aiming Feature reticle that is visible and usable without illumination even at the lowest power. The center of the reticle's cross rather than illuminated dot, chevron, etc., permits precise aiming when desired. If required for better visibility of the reticle or under low light conditions, the illumination provides that. My most recent purchase had a traditional milliradian reticle which I prefer over various bullet drop compensating styles for specific cartridges and loads.

Q: How is the reticle calibrated?
A: The 5.56mm reticle is calculated using 62gr M855 ammunition from a 16” M4 barrel. The 7.62mm reticle is a blended reticle, using data from 147gr M80 and 168gr match ammunition from a 20” AR10 barrel.
Q: What parts of the reticle illuminate?
A: The crosshairs illuminate for a brilliant aim point through the whole magnification range, the Rapid Aiming Feature does not.
Q: What does the optic come with?
A: The optic comes equipped with Tenebraex scope covers and KillFLASH ARD, LensPen, Battery.
