Elcan SpecterDR 1.5-6
NEW for 2024, the ELCAN SpecterDR 1.5x/6x comes equipped with integrated Picatinny rails, ambidextrous magnification throw levers, improved battery covers, and hard-wearing CERAKOTE® performance finishes in Black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE).
The ELCAN SpecterDR 1.5x/6x is the second evolution in the family of Dual Role Optical Sights. Based upon the battle-proven SpecterDR design, the SpecterDR 1.5x/6x provides higher magnification to enable greater precision and longer engagement ranges, while at the same time providing exceptional field of view in CQB mode.
The SpecterDR 1.5-6 enjoys ELCAN’s famous crystal-clear optics as well as a generous eye relief, making it the ideal instrument for designated marksman rifles and other long range applications. As with all SpecterDR sights, the magnification and field of view can be changed instantly with the throw of a lever. Depending upon the situation, the user may adjust the sight to illuminate the crosshair or just a brilliant red dot in the center. Because the reticles are etched in glass, they are plainly visible even in the case of loss of electrical power due to battery failure or EMP.
Optional XOPTEK™ Micro Reflex Sight
Now add the XOPTEK™ Micro Reflex Sight as an included option on your SpecterDR 1x/4x. The XOPTEK™ Micro Reflex Sight is designed as a lightweight rapid aiming device for pistols and carbines and as an auxiliary sight for long-range magnified optical sights. In operation, the sight projects a brilliantly illuminated red dot into the user's field of view to act as a precise aiming point for close to mid-range targets.
The SpecterDR family offers the best single solution for Long Range and CQB engagements and is designed to withstand the rigors of modern professional use.

Elcan SpecterDR 1.5-6x
Sighting in my 7.62x51mm rifle, we were getting 1.14 MOA from the combination of a rifle and scope at 100 meters. I’d say the combination of the two are right at top of their capabilities. Scope is built to withstand any punishment a rifle can mete out — and still hold its zeros. Only drawback: unit in black wasn’t available for purchase.
Q: How is the reticle calibrated?
A: The 5.56mm reticle is calculated using 62gr M855 ammunition from a 16” M4 barrel.The 7.62mm reticle is a blended reticle, using data from 147gr M80 and 168gr match ammunition from a 20” AR10 barrel.
Q: What parts of the reticle illuminate?
A: The crosshairs illuminate for a brilliant aim point through the whole magnification range, the Rapid Aiming Feature does not.
Q: What does the optic come with?
A: The optic comes equipped with Tenebraex scope covers and KillFLASH ARD, a LensPen, and battery.
Q: How do I know the optic is authentic?
A: Armament Technology has been in business for over 30 years and is the master distributer for SAI Optics. If you are purchasing from the Armament Technology Amazon store, we ensure the authenticity of the optic.
Q: Does it come with a mount?
A: No, you will have to provide a mount of your choice.
